Travel Story: Surviving The Alaskan Wilderness
Today we have on a cold weather camping survivalist guide and a fan of the podcast who reached out to come on the show, Ashley Marie Cowles. She is coming on today to tell her about the time a camping trek went very wrong and she got lost in the Alaskan forest in the dead of winter.
We are also going to cover how Alaska is a place of community, how people help each other out and support each other despite their differences. We cover how we can connect to the land more, living off the land and sustainable hunting, and Native American life in Alaska.
This episode really opened my eyes to how I want to be living and how we can all be better and do better for the land and our community. I am so grateful I got to have Ashley on.
